Training
After finding out I'm probably going to lose my job due to fucking government policies (why do we try to contribute to a positive society working for the goverment when the government fuck you in the arse for working hard and trying to help? Labour are seriously going west or should that be east?) I decided to cheer myself up with a session at Ingleton wall. The cold, dark and dank bouldering rooms are starting to become all to familiar but the wealth of good problems and the generally quiet feeling are just what you need to forget about shit! In anticipation of a long day out on the grit this forthcoming weekend I decided I would do a bit of an endurance session. Got stuck into completing all the easy and medium grade problems on the woody. (also learnt how to spell woody!). So managed to complete about twenty problems in an hour and a half session. Felt good fingers didn't hurt, felt strong (for me) and light (probably due to the fact that i didn't stuff my fat face 5 minutes before jumping on the board like I usually do). Forgot about all the stress of work and enjoyed doing Lot's of problems rather than working just a few hard problems. Really getting into this woody shit at the moment, always thought they were a bit crap, but you can see strength gains really quickly and it definitely gives you a good work out. Shame there ain't one in Lancaster! Anyway another boring entry in my bouldering/training diary!
