Me trying Crucifix Kiss Last Autumn
After trying Crucifix Kiss during the week and coming close mid week I decided to head back today to have another go. Got warmed up quickly on the easy problems at the answer area. Then headed to Tom's buttress to give Crucifix Kiss another go. I was trying the link from closer into Crucifix. I pulled on from the back, managed to get my hands onto the jug of Closer without my feet cutting loose. I then threw my left heel on to the jug, got my right heel onto the undercut lower down then stretched out to the tiny crimps on art of self destruction. Holding these i then threw onto the side pulls at the top of the ramp, cut loose and managed to hold the swing and get my right heel onto the ramp and pull through to the jug below the tree. First go today ace!
The same fella that was there mid week when I was was there again today. This guy was 51 and managed to send his project called the beauty of being crucified. This gets 7c, so there is hope for us all Sully!
I then got stuck into trying beauty of being numb V8/Fb7b. Managed the first couple of moves but holding the crimp on the lip wasn't happening. I then got a text from Callum saying he was heading to the Bowderstone tomorrow. I decided to leave it hoping I would have some strength for tomorrow if I don't get to drunk tonight at my cousins wedding!

Good effort on that V7. You're tick list is starting to look pretty impressive.. Need to get stuck in and catch up with the action, trouble is, Sully gets so fuc#ing excited about 6a's!! Heard your coming up to Dumby in acouple of weeks - top psyche. We're having a big BBQ on the Saturday eve to which you're invited, naturally.

Pete's just gutted that he's a bumbly.. I'm pretty sure that on our recent trips - Bowden, Dumby, Wimberry, Caley, Widdop, Earl we are matched problem for problem. Ok I'll give him sweet arete at Robin Hood's and that weird arete at the Roaches Sky Line but that it!! We are all just trying to improve Pete!!

You up for coming to Dumby next weekend? Friday 30th? Pete and I are going chuffing on Skye this weekend so we might have turned back into harness wearers by then!?!?

What has happened to the V7 blog - Did it die along with your form at Dumby?
Pete and I are planning an impromoptu grit fest - Saturday 12th of July - One day only. Pete has a free house so we will be there on Friday night. Not sutre what venue yet! Up for it?
