Fixed The Sink

With the arrival of the weekend and good weather it was time to pull on the sending uniform. Another battle with Fix My Sink (Fb 7b)was in order up at the lancashire grit wonderland of Thorn Crag.
Wandering up to the crag there were patches of snow and ice and it appeared i had the crag to myself. I got warmed up on the easier problems at the crag boulders. Things felt good and I felt possitive. I got on Fix my sink and hit the sloper first go but couldn't hold on to it. Gutted!
I then had another go, then another, then another..... Losing skin and psyche I took a long rest brushed the top holds. I then sat down, gave the sloper a John Gaskins stare and pulled on, storming up the the problem landing the sloper and toping out with a satisfing whoop!!!
Nice my first grit 7b.
