Now then!

Bloody hell I ain’t posted for a while. Well loads has happened in my life over the last few months but I don’t think I’ll bore you all with all the intricate details of everything. Climbing wise the three most shout about things must be:

1. An ace trip to font in October break 6 weather perfect days. Climbed loads of easy stuff, completed my first font circuit and climbed a few sevens. Stand out problem for me was l’hyper plomb an ace highball wall with a horrible slopey top out at apremont east. Looks like this trip is going to be a regular event so hopeful more of the same this October. Hopefully sully will of edited the video sometime soon and we can all relive the moments.

2. Holding the edge on the pit problem at trowbarrow then fucking up the top out. Gutted still need to send this. Shit!

3. Membership to the boardroom granted. Got involved with training on a 50 degree board some where in the deepest darkest parts of the trough of bowland. This has been awesome and I’m really enjoying training down here and hoping it will pay off as soon as I’m actually able to climb on some dry rock. I’m starting to feel stronger from these sessions and its good to be able to climb with some local strong fellas. ( If some times a little demoralising!) I think I’ve got to be a little careful when training here as I did four days down the board last week and felt pretty wiped out. I’ve got to be careful not to burn myself out. Saying that it’s damp outside today so looks like I’ll be thrashing myself down there today.

Well there you go not very exciting round up of the last few months. I have managed to get out a bit but not really got too much done. Things will change!

Now thoughts must turn to 2010. The nights are starting to draw out and soon I’ll be able to have some after work sessions out on south lakes rock. With that in mind and the tradition of climbing tick lists here is my after work tick list:
