Kentmere Midge Fest Volume 2

Ignoring my own advice I headed to Kentmere last night after work. It was another still, hot and muggy night. Hoping the midge population would be lower I opted not to hike up to the Garburn boulder but to head into the little font boulders. Problem of choice being negative reality inversion sitting start. I landed up at the problem got warmed up and sent the stand up pretty quickly considering the hot sweaty conditions AND massive number of midges. Buggers were biting again and I nearly left but unfortunately got sucked into trying the sitting start. This baffled me for a good thirty minutes until I sussed out a sequence using a couple of crimps on the arete to pull on for a side pull type thing round the left, then used a heel to allow me to snatch into the stand up. After a couple of goes at this I held the sweaty slopey pinch that marks the start of the stand up. I then managed to stay on as I sweated through the top moves to send the problem.
A good problembut was worth another 200 or so bites!
