The last couple of months have been very frustrating on the bouldering front. I’ve been getting out but conditions seem to be against me and I’ve been unable to get much new stuff done. I can’t be arsed to waffle on and give a blow by blow account of numerous failures.
The highlight of the last two months was a visit to the sandstone wonderland at St bees head. On this visit I managed to climb headbanger. This I a strange problem graded some where between 6c -7b. My own opinion if you use one mat, the pinch on the arête and crimp to gain the bottom of the pod it’s 7a+, if you start with your right in the bottom of the pod its about 6c. Either way it feels cool! (See the vid)

Who'd have thought there was so much more to go at just up the coast..? Definitley gonna head there next time I'm down.
